  • I finally got my TLR. WooHoo!

I bought my TLR on Saturday. I bought it in Surrey in England. Problem is I'm Irish so I had a bit of a spin to get home. 320 miles or 4 1/2 hours to the ferry port in the pissing rain. Then a 2 hour rough ferry crossing and then 45 minutes up the road in Dublin and I was home at 9:30pm. I left the shop at 1pm. Epic journey. I wouldn't have been able to do it as easily as I did if I hadn't bought a v-twin. I can safely say that I will never own a 4 cylinder bike again.

This thing is great. 'Would you like a huge dollop of power to go with the 100mph you're already doing now? Certainly. 'Then twist that grip'... 110mph, 120mph, 130mph, etc... WooHoo!....

While it feels alot like my GSX-R600 to sit on and move around on the road it doesn't resemble it in any way once you twist the grip. V-Twins rock and roll. It's mad how in seeps into your brain and makes you feel so dominante on the road. It's addictive.

It came with a set of carbon cans that are un-branded so I've no idea who made them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I can't wait to fit my switchable TRE and for my undertray(FSMD) to arrive.

It's actually pissing my off that I'm in work at the moment. I could be off breaking the sound barrier somewhere instead of being here pretending to work. If you fancy a look go to the link below and browse to the TLR section.

        That's a fine looking bike!
And completely stock (apart from the cans), which is even better.

Right lads. It's lunch time now. I'm halfway through my working day and it's doing my head in. I can still hear the noise of the bike echoing in my head. I want to go and ride it. 5 hours to go.....please don't rain, please don't rain....
