    Giving some praise to tlrcraz1's fan mod.

    I'd like to give some praise to tlrcraz1's fan mod.

    I finally got around to installing it, the instructions are clear and well set out. The actual switch is very nice indeed and the wire splicing clamps that are included offer a nice clean way to safety splice into the wires. Soldering isn't an option for me.

    Although the bit about being careful and not ~ucking up and scratching the control housing should be but in,BOLD AND UNDERLINED

    As The installation went fine no problems at all but the rh/side control housing. I took my time not to slip and ~uck up. But chuck on the dremil chewed into the housing. So I guess I ~ucked up.

    So Im looking for the rh/side control housing.

    i liked mine so much i got one for my friend and put it on his too! if you just use a file and some patience it works good
    2002 TLR B/W . Yoshimura bolt on Titanium cans. Yosh box remap. Joe V airbox mod. plug in TRE. 17/41 sprockets. Zero Gravity double bubble screen. fan switch. HyperPro steering damper. Extreme Graphic Top Gun undertail. Ohlins rear shock.

        aahhhh is that why u could not make it out on sunday for a ride,
        didn't want to show me ur #$%! up ??
        u missed a great ride, approx 50 bikes out cruising around in packs, freo,scarbs etc

          I have just the housing. I needed the on/off switch out of it but the housing is not damaged. Pay for shipping and it is yours.

            Nah not at all, I'm really sorry about that, I was half way there pulled in for fuel and I got the phone call. So I had no option but to bail on you. Anyway it sounds like you had a decent ride anyway.

            This weekend were heading out to the hills or around town not quite sure what the boys are up to.

                Thanks Marshall! I'll make sure to make those changes to the instructions. My first one didn't turn out the best either.
                Also gonna add a bit about using a file. Dragonbro

                  is this just the manual fan switch? if so, where can i get one. its startin to cool off here in az, but next summer i'm sure i'll need it.

                    I added an red diode to the gauge panel to let me know if I leave the switch on..
                    Ohlins rear,Hyperpro/Traxton front, PCII,6-pot front w/SS lines, Airbox mod, High mount exhaust, Clear tailight, Sliders, Carbon front/Hugger, Scotts, Helibars, K+n, Manuall fan sw, EBC HH Pads, 17/42, O2 Sensor w/gauge....list goes on

                      mmm good idea, suzuki added the same thing to the gauge panel to let me know when I leave my TLR running

                        Hey that's a good idea. I've left mine on a couple of times longer than I was planning, but no ill side effects. I'll have to look into that.


                        The fan switch is an awsome addition his kit is superb.
