  • After the TFI Installation

I picked up this unit from Doug a few weeks back, and I installed it with leaving the settings as they were (he said that his setup was not too far off mine...). I managed to go through a full tank of gas yesterday (probably the last nice day of the year), so I know for sure it is working! I normally get 215km if I am riding really nice, 175km if I am playing...well...my light came on last night at 148km!!

I was able to produce (and reproduce) some crowd-pleasing blue flames out the back very easily! No doubt due to a little richness. I am finding the throttle a tad less responsive from idle...I suspect it is running a bit rich at the bottom and middle.
Be good, and if you can't be good...be really, REALLY bad!!

I should have done one mod at a time...unfortunately, I dropped one tooth on the front sprocket at the same time. So I don't know how much of the extra pull is attributed to the TFI...

I am going to back off the bottom, and middle (just a little) to see what that does. I am going to leave the top as it is though.
