  • Head Lights

    some one on here had a pic of the TLR with a blue and a yellow head light, who was that? and where did you get your light bulbs? i would like to do the same thing, i think it is awesome.

    you can get them just about anywhere. H4 bulb from xenon or what ever brand colored or "bright white".
    2002 TLR B/W . Yoshimura bolt on Titanium cans. Yosh box remap. Joe V airbox mod. plug in TRE. 17/41 sprockets. Zero Gravity double bubble screen. fan switch. HyperPro steering damper. Extreme Graphic Top Gun undertail. Ohlins rear shock.

      what is the best wattage to get for the bulbs?

        i went with the stock wattage cuz i didn't want to melt anything. others have gone with the higher wattage, i think 90W, and said no problems. i have replaced wire harness for headlights before due to the higher wattage bulbs though.

          Yeah, be careful with the uber-high powered lights.... The TLS that I have has two 'burn' marks in the glass where the beam was too much....

            yep, use the stock 55/60 watt bulbs.. i have the xenon blue ones as well. if ya want really nice bright ones, go with the PIAA bulbs. HID look, at 40 a pair or so.... when you look on the internet for them. if you got to the stealer, they want 40 a piece!
