  • Rode with some fellow TLR owners today

Hey all... myself and a riding buddy went on a group ride today with Hollow Man and a couple of his friends. Here's the list of bikes:

01 or 02 GSXR 1000 with a Two Brothers exhaust
    R6 with M4 slip-on
    Super Hawk with Staintune pipes
    Arsey 51 with full Akrapovic
    TLR with full Yosh
    TLR with full M4
    me with TBR C5 cans

Now, on top of meeting some great people and hitting some great roads in mid-Michigan, I got a great comparison of exhausts (for the first time). In terms of looks, the Akra system blows everything away. What a gorgeous system it is! Perfect welds. Perfect cans... everything. Except, it was a little quiet when compared to the TLRs as I had trouble hearing it later on.

When it came time to fire the bikes up, I was really impressed with the Yosh system. I had heard how quiet (or quieter) it was than some of the other options, so, I don't know if it was the full system or what, but the tone was real good and loud (like my TBRs). However, I was completely blown away by the M4. I had already been thinking about getting the FS M4 this winter, but now I am sure about it. Holy cow that system rocks! Great note, very strong and a good look to it. Granted, my Two Brothers aren't bad, but I want to get rid of that pinch in the exhaust and I know this is the way to go.

    Great riding today fellas!

Good comparison, myself I got my mind set on Yosh Tri-ovals but will "settle" for RS3īs in Ti if I cant find the tri-ovals. I also love how the M4s sound but think Yosh looks better and also I think that Yosh and Zook just go together.

Full system? What kind of cans? I am thinking the CF since my TBRs are CF now and I like the look. When is Spring I think they'll be worth the wait!

bx - Yes... no crash stories. Good riding all around considering the size of the group.

All those VTwins with aftermarket exhausts must of been a pretty intoxicating experience.
