I have 15/45 but if I were you I qould go with either the 16/40 or 16/41. I've ridden one with 16/40 530 chain, it was much better than stock but still could have used alittle more snap when taking off.

You could even go a 15/38 which would help you maintain the lower weight gained by the 520. Lower front will get you even more lost weight and keep you from putting a larger on the rear adding some of the weight you just took off. something to think about. Gearing wise this will put you between the 16/40 and 16/41.

Most of the TLR's that I know go with a 16/41-43 setup...
(+2 or +4 on the rear sprocket)

On the outside - TLR forks, front carbon fender, 5/8th master brake cylinder, black SS brake lines (frnt & rear), braking waves all around with Ti bolts, Brembo gold front calipers & a busa gold rear caliper, flush mount signals (frnt & rear), ZG DB scr

i've only ridden mine that has the 17/41 combo. i like the way it feels. not too abrupt or jerky, better wheelies too . 16/39 would be good to

I'm going with 17/40 with the 520 conversion simply because I really don't need the extra acceleration and would rather have the top end.

17/41. Are you going racing? Why the 520 conversion. Lower life span.
                I know nothing about bikes.

Beacuse it´s a good deal on the group buy, and Sentinel has put together a kit with a 520 chain & sprockets. So, I´ll try it out.

I went riding with a guy last weekend that went to a 18-49 on his TLS. It was one hell of a wheelie machine.

Man that's alot of extra weight.

                            Longer chain
                            larger front sprocket
                            larger rear sprocket

He probably lost 2 HP to the rear wheel with that set up.

Would be much better off with a 15/ 41 or 15/40

and a shorter wheel base because of the larger back sprocket requires the tire to be closer.... (easier wheelies)
