  • lowsided at the track

lowsided at a track day at Jennings GP monday. not sure what happened, i was coming up behind slower traffic, was not really leaned over that far, didnt chop the throttle or hit the brakes, had new m1's, so maybe my suspension is set up too hard?

messed up the fairings, dented the tank, broke the levers and the brake master cylinder, busted one of the d&d pipes. messed up my nice kobe gloves, hole in my new leathers

Nice job on the frame. Too bad about the lowside. Where are your frame sliders? That tank is a gone. Track good though
                I know nothing about bikes.

Thanks for all of the kind words.

I dont think there was anything on the track surface, nothing obvious anyway.

I am a little sore, but ok. no rash or anything, i slid on my ass until i went off the track and then i started tumbling and landed on my shoulder which is the only part that is bothering me now.

about 2 weeks ago the right side frame slider vibrated off on the highway (i guess you have to loctite EVERYTHING on a tiller) and i had ordered some new ones but of course they hadnt arrived yet.

the bike slid on its left side until it hit the grass and then flipped over onto the non-slidered side. i was really bummed to see the big dent in the tank.

I pulled the lowers off and straightened most of it out so i can ride until i fix it for real. still need a front brake master cylinder, my friend has one from a 97 gsxr 600, will that work?

Seca, are you guys doing all 3 days? i had just come out of turn 8.
                            Thanks for offers for help!

here is a "before" pic. thats self etching primer on the frame, doesnt run, comes in a spray can, real easy to apply.
