  • Lowsided On An Offramp First Crash Ever!!

my first crash in my 7 years of riding ( my own fault ) front end washed out from underneath of me. too much lean angle for my worn out front tire. oh well you learn as you go i guess. i have a slight case road rash on both knees and both elbows. AND YES I DID HAVE ON MY LEATHERS i guess it might have just burnt me thru them. the bike slid about 75 feet and supprisingly not that much damage i will attach pics...just wanted to tell you guys at the planet that you are very understanding and you have no idea how much info you have all given me so if you see some posts in the near future on looking for parts please drop me a line cause here is what i am going to be needing....

    1. YELLOW PAINT CODE..
    2. WHERE TO PURCHASE THE TL1000R STICKER ( 98 )
    3. BEST PLACE TO PURCHASE BOTH BRAKE LEVERS.
    4. AND ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO HELP ME FIX THIS PIPE

and before anyone decides to start flaming me it was on an offramp that is not used anymore i would NEVER NEVER do that on a open offramp... thanx again everyone at the TLPLANET.COM

Its from a 98 tlr. The sticker has a black outline with a fake carbon look on the inteiror part of it.
Try ronayers.com for all your needs. You might want to do aftermarket brake lever, and there was a link for a brake pedal for the rear that you could purchase different parts for it there was any mishaps.
          Paint codes, color-rite.com
          I know nothing about bikes.

i would shoot a couple pics of the can to yosh (that is a yosh bolt on right ). i think they could resleeve it and put on a new strap at a pretty good price.

2000 tillis plus stuff with some polished stuff and some carbon fiber stuff and a little bit of tlr stuff and some gsxr stuff

Yeah man, curse of carbon.. you're going to need a new sleeve and band from Yoshi, and possibly a new front endcap too. May as well repack while you're there??

Check out the inside of your leathers - the rash could be from them sliding on your skin. If so there will be a nice dry patch of skin on the liner! Leathers a bit loose?

Hope recovery is speedy for you and your bike.

Look at it this way, you crashed, and walked away from it with minimal damage to yourself and the bike.

                              No Flaming here.
