  • Teka Sfi

Hurray, I finally found a dealer who owns a Teka SFI.

However, my ECU has been flashed twice by the Yosh box before. Do I need to go back to the dealer with the Yosh box and get them to reset everything?

I asked this dealer with the Teka SFI and he said it's not necessary. Saying that all adjustments is made on top of whatever adjustments he's gonna make later with the Teka tool.

    Any BS here?

    It shouldn't be a problem.

Not exactly sure how it works, but the TEKA should just over write the Yosh settings.

To be sure he could always use the TEKA to go back to zero settings first and start from scratch.

I asked because I read that before using the Techlusion device, I must first reset my ECU with the Yosh box again.

Glad to hear it's different for the Teka.

Teka and Yosh both flash the ECU, the TFI and PCII are both add on devices that alter the ECU injector pulses, seeing as both the TEKA and Yosh box box flash the memory internally, they should be 100% compatable.

Only twice as much as a new Yosh box, but 100 times better, but way out of my reach

A friend of mine has the Teka....pretty neat tool. The way I understand it, your best bet would be to set your ECM back to 0 with the Yosh box. The Teka adds or subtracts a % of fuel at a given RPM AND Throttle position (Unlike other methods where TP doesn't matter). If there are currently Yosh settings in there, that becomes your 0 and the Teka adjusts from there. It will work, but you won't know exactly what % you have where as compared to your stock settings.
