Not sure if this helps you or not, but check out the HJC line of helmets, they are very inexpensive, but look great and best of all, they are DOT and SNELL approved.

with an Arai - the helmets only come in two shells - for the different sizes it is just the thickness of the inside padding - if you go to an authorized Arai dealer they could make your S into an XS - or custom fit it for that matter.....Jack DeAndrade

I have a HJC , worn maybe 5 times size Med. Wife hated it, and measured her head correctly and she ended up with an XS suomy.
Measure her melon, about .5 above the eyebrow all the way around, then check out the sizing charts so you get the correct size. Dont take hair into effect either
