Whats your gas milage? I can go about 150 miles on a tank. Much less than my old bandit 600.

    Andrew

course I know that there is a little difference between the two.

If I'm correct, there's 4.5 litres in one gallon. So on my stock TLR, I used to get 55 MPG on open road and around 45 when doing twisties. Now with the couple of mods, I'm only getting around 40 MPG

On the last ride, I was lucky if I got 42 mpg. Either I was in the twisties at 7-8k or 80+ mph getting there. This was the lowest mileage to date, normally I am in th 45-48 mpg range. A small price for alot of fun.

It's like 3.8 liters to the gallon. I used to get 80-90 miles before my light came on. 97 TLS.

                  I average 38-40.

I would like to get 55 like my old Ducati got...but this bike is more fun.

Thanks for the good info, some rides out here in the west you can easily hit the 125 + mile mark seeing a feul stop.

the light starts at about the 100 mile mark. I try to plan my rides to go no longer than 120 miles between fuel stops.

I used to get a consistant 48-50 MPG no matter how I treated her. Now with exhaust and the PCII it is closer to 40 when I'm pounding on her.

I used to get 220/180 kms (hwy/cty resp) before first seeing the light blink. Now, after the TFI (it obviously works, as it is sucking waaaay more fuel now)....I now get about 180/150. The last tank only got 124 kms before seeing the light (78 miles or 26 mpg!). That only takes about 11-12 litres to fill from there though.

Me think me have to dial the TFI back a tad!

How could I let this thread go without adding this? Yes I'm a nut

(oops I'm slipping, that's only for the last 79 tanks, I've got about another 30 to add to that.)
