    PC II fi mapping

    I had my bike dyno-tuned at the local shop before I switched from slip-ons to a full Yosh with K&N Filter.

    My question is... Do I need to have it done again. If I decided to get a PCII and set the mapping myself, is there a way to reset the ECU back to factory. Do I need to have it reset before adding a PCII

    I believe if you go with a pc2 you should remap the ecu back to the factory steeings. The pc2 modifies the factory map. This is my understanding.
    2001 TL1000R -Full Yosh Ti cans,bitubo shock,TRE,PC2,BMC filter,moto-style no cut sliders,joe v airbox,manual fan switch,16-40,speedo-healer,UFO,pedro gpi, corbin seat.

    2001 DRZ400E - Yosh pipe, race-tech suspension, moose skidplate,msr rad. guards,acerbis handguards,cfc caseguards,mcct, JD jetting,renthal bars,acerbis hand guards.

      If you had the ECU set with a Yoshi Box (YAFMS), then it must be set back to factory settings (0, 0, 0) before using a PCII.
      Common sense is not very common.

        to get maximun power from ur pcII make sure you get your bike dyno'ed,you get it done on the correct type of dyno,one with the velocity stacks to get a correct map for your bike not a generic tlr.my friend got 12hp from his custom map on the correct dyno.2hp from a generic map downloaded...i know some guys have goten a lil more from downloading maps but 12hp's...damn all good

            how much should I expect to pay for a custom map and dyno?
