  • Chain Life?

I was just wondering how long others are getting out of their chain/sprockets. I'm at about 3500 miles on the stocker, and it is showing no wear yet.

Tires, however, . My 2nd rear is bald, and I don't do burnouts.

12,000+ miles out of mine and still going strong. I'm hoping for a few more yet, the only time the adjustment ever gets done is when a new rear tyre goes on it. It doesn't need adjusting between rears.

I've got 16K on my OEM chain and sprockets. I take care of it and clean and lube the chain alot. I do alot of wheelies and curve carving and it's held up pretty darn good.

I replaced mine at 12k but was difficult to adjust evenly by 10k. I always lubed the chain before every ride. Sprockets didn't show signs of wear but I replaced them as well when I put a new chain on.

24,000 or something like that. Keep it lubed and properly adjusted and it will last a long time.

                14.000 (miles) did gold.

for our weather, that ain't too bad i guess.

pretty easy-going riding style, never lubed it (i have a squeeze-type-chainoiler, very good for the lazy asses )

Almost 19000km with original chain. I probably need to replace it at the 24000 inspection.
Street usage (mostly good weather) and very little racetrack.

                  Greetings
