  • New Clutch Master Cylinder

I want to replace my broken clutch MC with something trick. What should I use and where can I find it?

Maybe a Radial Brembo Clutch Master? I'm not sure...

I can tell you, however, that I do most of my riding on the road so please consider that when making your suggestions!

    Thanks fellow TLR/S lovers

    A TLS cable set-up

I'd have to second that, would be cheaper than a replacement TLR item, it weighs less and it works as good or better.

      It's an easy conversion too.

Are there any benefits of cable over hydo?

        How do I do it?

Only real benefit is that it saves a little weight and is a lot cheaper to replace if you ever bin it again. Replacement hydraulic clutch master cylinders are pretty pricey for TL's.

They both work just as good as each other. I really don't think there is any difference in terms of performance between the hydraulic and the cable system.

There are quite a few articles on the forums about the conversion. I should have written up a guide when we had ours all apart but was too slack

We picked up a Busa master cylinder setup and will be tinkering with it over the winter. Much more "crashproof" than the flimsy plastic TLR stocker.

Is there such a thing? If so, would it necessary for that kinda money? I'm betting the TLS cable set-up would give a bit more feel than the TLR hydro...

Yes, economy and progressive action. No bleeding either... The downside to a cable is if you have a really hard clutch pull, but I doubt that is the case here.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a bad example.
