M4 or Yosh, Again
I hate to rehash this subject all over again considering a month or two ago this same topic was discussed but I'm going to sell my Two Brothers slip-ons and go with a full system this winter and I've narrowed it down to the M4 ti or the Yosh ti. I thought I had my mind made up on the M4 (for performance reasons) but I love the looks of the Yosh setup. The price of the M4 setup is a little more (under $100 difference) so that is something to consider. What do you guys think?- If you find this site useful kick us a few bucks. Tip cup

I would get the Yosh, I still think they might be the best looking system even though I could be an Akro owner soon.PCIIIUSB::CZ wheels::Akra f/s custom cans&hangers::Bitubo shock::GSXR750 K4 legs::R1 calipers::GSXR K2 rear caliper::ExtremeTech damper::Race rearsets::Joe V mod::K&N filter::Van's CCC+PP::Barnett springs::GiPro ATRE::1/5 throttle::C/F mirrors+hugger+fender+tankprotector::LP screen::mod subframe w/ gap tray::undertail::flush indicators::Van's rear cup::Brembo 19x18::Braided lines::Galfer wave rear rotor::Speedking mod OEM rotors::Van's ecc::WC clipons::520 @ 16/40::Van's spr cover::TWM cap::

It sounds like the decision would have been easy a couple of years ago when the M4 was not only the best performer but also the cheaper of the two by a fair bit. I stuck with M4 when I replaced my old M4 system of two years with another one. But I'd already invested a lot of time into customizing my PCII map for my specific setup. Going with Yosh would've messed it up some.TLXR Project Bike:
Donor '99 TLR, PCII, K&N custom filtration, Sharkskinz Airbox/Ducts, Sebimoto carbon fairings with dual projectors, QBCarbon tank and vented front fender, M4 Ti/SS Full Exhaust, BST carbon rims, Pirelli Supercorsa's SC1/2 (190/55 rear), complete '03 GSXR1K front end, AP Racing radial mono-block calipers, Brembo Radial M/C, EBC 320mm Prolite Supersport rotors, GSXR1K rear caliper, Galfer SS lines all-around, CFM clip-ons and rearsets, 520-conv w/DID ERV2 chain, Ohlins rear damper, Ohlins Steering Damper, ZeroG DB screen, Graves fairing stay, Lightech true carbon/Ti mirrors w/custom brackets, Ti caliper & rotor bolts, plenty of black Al bolts, Eurobikes carbon hugger, POR-15 sprayed frame, custom Al undertray, custom quick-release tag bracket, switchable TRE, custom 1/2" subframe risers w/Ti hardware, some other stuff I'm likely forgetting...

I like the looks of the M4 better, the performance was an added bonus. If you like the looks of the Yosh better, then get that one, you will be happier in the end.SOLD! 2002 Suzuki TL1000R -Blue/White

I'm ordering the Yosh system next week, because it is built better than the M4. No one ever complains about the quality of a Yosh. The tiny bit of performance from the M4, will you really know it? Can you tell the difference of 2 or 3 HP's when you are already over 120HP's, No, me neither, therefore I go on quality and RD that Yosh does on Suzuki. M4 seems like a nice system, I think it has decent looks, but is it worth more than the same from Yosh. No Way!Nate
Galfer SS lines, LE reworked forks and Penske rear, IRP axle spacer, frame sliders and rear spools, custom airbox, block off plates by MFR Inc., custom undertray, Extreme Graphics Top Gun undertail w/ Navy's dimmer, ZG DB dark, Scott's steering damper, Yosh bolties, PC2, DID 520ERV2, 17 SS & 41 AFAM, Galfer rear wave and other stuff to come!

well, i still have not seen proof that the m4 makes more power. and even if it does make 1 hp more, who will know it. lose some weight either from the bike or the beer diet, and its all good. so i will go on looks, quality, and reputation. which still in my eye is the yosh

The few extra ponies and less common look are the reasons why I was considering the M4s. I don't mind spending a little more for them. Damn I think I will flip a coin.- If you find this site useful kick us a few bucks. Tip cup

M4 seems like a nice system, I think it has decent looks, but is it worth more than the same from Yosh. No Way!flag on this one.....how is the Yosh a better quality system than the M4? The M4 cost more than the Yosh for a reason, they are made just as well, if not better than the Yosh. I've owned both systems and I can say with a clear conscience that the M4 is better. I know horkn is sick of me saying it, but the M4's fit and finish is way better, especially since they don't use those 10 cent springs to hold everything together.
I know horkn's exhaust uses the clamps too, maybe he has an older system or a custom setup, but the Yosh that I had used the springs. I've also seen every other Yosh use the springs as well.
Both systems are good, you can't go wrong with either. Looks are subjective and that should be one of the main factors in choosing an exhaust. Nobody wants a kick ass bike with aexhaust on there. You will get sick of looking at it and second guess yourself everytime you look at it.
I'll stand by my original advice where Jiffypark is concerned, he likes the look of the Yosh better, and it's cheaper, saving him some $$$, so it's a no-brainer, get the Yosh.SOLD! 2002 Suzuki TL1000R -Blue/White
