  • Exhaust gas temp

I have notice that the temp of the exhaust gas leaving from the cans quiet different. The right side is hot and the left side is cold.

Do anyone know why or maybe my bike has a problem?

    Thanks in advance

I don't know offhand, I am sure you will get more info that what I offer...it doesn't sound right to me. Are your TB's synced? Is one side puffing anything (like when it is cold) while the other is not?

I donīt know since when it happens, but the gas flow looks ok is only the temp. I think is not correct. It is from the starting of the engine. And I donīt understand this situation.

I have RS-3 slips on, At the beggining I thought that is normal, but I figure out that maybe the valves or lubrication is not ok

My bike does the exact same thing. At startup the right can puts out hot air and left cold. I'm sure the big kink under the chain has something to do with it. I would imagine the right path is a more direct route for the exhaust gases to escape. When I finally get my full sysytem I'll check to see if they are more equal.

That's normal for a Tiller from what I know

Theory blams it on the crimp in the left side header underneath the chain

Warm or not, right side always flows more. Just the design of the exhaust.....

I think SD posted some temperatures not long ago. Definitely a TL thing.

Like the others said, don't worry about it.
