  • Tiller rocks!

My friend and I went on a ride to Park City, Utah last weekend. While we were parked at the Chevron to grab a drink, 4 guys approached us and 1 asked if he could get a picture of himself on one of our bikes. I ride a 99' TL1000R, my buddy rides an 03' ZX6R 636. My buddy told the guy he could and then pointed at his ZX6R. The guy said, "No, the yellow one is better!" My buddy was very disappointed, and of course I let the guy sit on mine for a pic. Especially when we found out that these four guys were from Israel just visiting.
My point is, many people say that the newest bikes are the hottest looking things out. Well, this proves that the Tiller is and will always look BAD ASS!!!
I have attached a pick of mine and my friend's bike, the Tiller is 4 years older than the 636 and still looks the best!

You are right. Especially the V-Max. I had a 94' canary yellow V-Max 6 years ago. Love the air scoops, even though they were cosmetic.

It is cool to think that a pic of my bike is in some guy's house in Israel.

Just goes to show you that people from all over the world know the TL is king.

It kinda makes the 636 look like a Ninja 250

The TLR has an SR71 supersonic look to it. Kinda big and hella fast. Comparing the TLR to the 636 is kinda akin to comparing an F-15 to a T-38.

The new liter bikes are getting so small and focused. They may be ultimate track day tools for sure, but they make it so casually easy to go way too fast on the street. This was my impression riding a stock '98 R1 a few years back. I can only imagine what the new crop of bikes is like.

I guess I really am getting old. Perhaps a tiny bike with too much power is not what I need at this stage in life. I have to say, I hate to admit that

Yes it needs pipes! I can't seem to find the money yet..........Combined with the fact that I can't decide whether or not to save for the full system or go with bolt ons.
