  • Deerslayer TLS almost done!

For those of you who remember the wrecked TL I bought last May from a guy who hit a deer with it, here it is! I just spent 2 hours tweeking the fairing mounts getting the thing to line-up properly It's all good now though, and just in time for winter! All I need is that pesky panel that goes under the windshield (and over the dash) that holds the front two screws. Please see needed to buy section...

    Anyway, the pic:
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a bad example.

Looks nice. What is your favorite bike at the moment or does it just depend what mood you are in

Sure, if I get caught in the act of riding it
              Wasn't that thing Black OEM?
Nope, it's always been red. I'll let you guys in on a secret though... My paint guy used DuPont Chevy Lumina Torch Red (#9008 I think, can look at the can if anyone is interested) and it's such a good match, I can't see a difference. It'll cost less than Colorite, and most bodyshops are familiiar with the brand
              Excellent work as always, John.
Thank you very much... I'll be here all week

Well, I can only afford to license three (of at least that's where I draw the line) bikes. Those include my '99 R1, my Buell streetfighter, and my Ducati 900SS. They've all got their finer points, but the R1 get's my pulse racing the most. Maybe it's because it has twice the horsepower of the others and weighs less! Then again, the Ducati is a really neat machine (probably the best handling), and the Buell is a one of a kind that I've put a lot of time and effort into. I haven't had a lot of seat time on the TLS, so we'll see how it fits in at a later date. Thus far, I certainly like it

              Thanks for the feedback!

Do you like the look with or without the stock decals? I think I'm going to leave it plain 'cause I'm diggin' the simple look
