  • TLR to ZX-12 calipers - WHY???

I know that some guys here have changed the front and rear calipers from the TLR std. one's to ZX-12 callipers.

Why are the ZX-12 better, as there both 6 pot calipers arnt they, or is it purely cosmetic

    cheers,

For the TLS the front is an upgrade. For the TLR the front is cosmetic. The rear is cosmetic for both.

bling is all for the Kawi caliper change

I changed my fronts to Gold Ducati Brembo calipers and Ferodo Superlight rotors and the rear rotor was lightened then added a 2002 GSXR gold rear caliper.

        Much better braking

Will 6 pot Calipers overheat if they are powdercoated?

And guys, TLD is referring to his Gixxer front end. 02 GSXR1K calipers don't bolt onto the TLS / TLR
