is there any special brackets needed to put race plastic on a 98 tls? i picked up a wrecked tls pretty cheap and plan on racing a few heavyweight twins classes with it next year.

I used zip ties to put on my set of airtech plastics, but I think there are some brackets that are needed. I was scraping the plastics at my track days. either they weren't on there propperly, or I was really really low. I'd like to think i'm just damn fast, but I doubt it.

For full plastics you need 3 brackets and for a full set on a race bike 4 because you wont have the headlight assembly. Sharkskinz has them listed on their website, and I did the same as stated above, ziptied them onto the frame.Comment
