An SB8 went on ebay a while back for $13000. I drooled over it for about an hour.

my bike was stolen last sat. So I'm thinking of building one. Bitubo is not better than the 3 way penske, but it is one damn good shock and for the money, common! I'm gonna try and build one mean TL, but I need to do it within reason! That would mean, trying to save $800 by not buying the Penske.

If you go with the TS frame, doesn't that open up a whole lot more rear shocks to use? You're not limited to the TLS / TLR options anymore.
