  • Ness Leathers...

Well, I can't show pics of my newly black coated wheels, so here's a pic of my new Arlen Ness leathers and Alpinestars Back Protector... quality on both is fantastic.
The Weaver bird has little brain, it weaves about from lane to lane... that'd be me then...

I have a friend that have one of those (Arlen Ness).
It shriked after a wet tour! It became 1-2 cm shorter in the arms and legs.

Be adviced to not to dry it to fast! I think it wont shrink if it dries slow, i.e. not in a hot room, away from radiators. etc.

Some of my friends with Ness gear have had issues with the zippers. I.e. they break after a short while. (a few months, or even a few weeks : ). Easy to fix for a seamstress. But annoying, and it cost a few $. Sure, the warranty. But you will get the same sort of zipper, that might break again within a few weeks... Better to fix the problem once for all.
But ohter than those few minor problems, the gear is great. Looking nice. A bit Poser over them

                I don't know yet!!!

I have a VERY good relationship with my Bike shop (West Coast, Southport), and get most things at trade, so the sticker price of 630GBP (1000USD?) should come out the right side of 499GBP (650 USD?).
However the guy that distributes them wants some large banners making, and it just so happens that the firm I work for does just that! There should be a deal to be had there...

Actually, they are a bit long in the arms and legs, so that should not be too bad!
                Thanks for the warning anyway!!

You're gona dig the back protector. I got one. I love it. Although be prepared, it does ride up a bit. A friend has one as well and we both noticed it. I'm 6'1" 140, he's about 5' 9" 250. I think we both wear a large. He may wear an XL actually. Otherwise, they're great.
