Rupes you got any close up pics of your exhaust, I'm guessing it's TLR exhaust with custom brackets I'm trying to do something like that too

For the frame, swingarm, 2 subframes, Graves front bracket, and the set of Ohlins mount brackets it was $170.

I did have to remove the swingarm bearings, but they masked off the steering head area. I'm really happy with it.

Nope actually its a Hindle TLs system. I just rotated the leader pipes coming up to the cans and had them extended a little, then I had some flanges welded on to accept the bolt on cans. Ground it all smooth and had it heat coated. Also had some custom exhaust brackets made up as there are no rear pegs any more.

Rupes, for color ideas check this out...

And it doesn't matter what you choose....it'll all take three weeks right?

I'd powdercoat it. Powdercoating just looks freaking sweet to me.

Rupes = Lazarus = posts back from the dead. Next you'll want to tell him how to remove a swingarm.

TL4Life, I mounted up a TLR Akro Evo system to my TLS. I had to move the oil cooler back (tried a TLR liquid to oil cooler, but didnt work out...apariantly the filter flange on 97TLS is smaller in diamater than the newer modles or the the TLR). I was able to rotate the mid pipes and used some SS hangers which I bent a bit to mount to the stock brackets/rear footpegs. I dont have any pics with me, but the pipes exit just under the stock turnsignals. I left about 3/4 clearance between the stock licens plate holder and signals to prevent melting, if you had a undertail setup you could probably get them a bit higher.

                            good luck
