  • I Just Got Mine!!!!!!!!

I JUST GOT MY TL YESTERDAY
I got a 2002 New at the dealer and I LOVE IT. I am coming off a ZX7 and there is no comparison. THanks to all for the good information before i got this. I know this iwll be a long and happy relationship with an awesome bike.

ALSO IT SETS OFF CAR ALARMS EVERYWHERE. The low frequency is great, I can only imagine if it had aftermarket pipes!!!

You will see me alot in the future.

ANY TL' s IN Rochester NY?
    I'm so slow I think I'm first!!!!!!!

welcome... it is true... i love setting off car alarms too... whenever I am at the mall, I give it a little extra juice down the lanes to hear the cars scream in agony.

                      Welcome!

Once you've ridden twins, it's hard to imagine anything else.

                        Welcome!!!

                        The sound is awesome!

I was at a bike event (imagine a huge beachparty with bikes parked everywhere... 5 days party...)

Anyway, me and som friends (J-Bone from this forum as well)

Decided to show everyone what a sportsbike should sound like.
We started up our bikes and had them warm up a bit, then we reved them slightly, not to much. (Not good for the engine...).
                        Awsome.
                        The bikes we had?
                        2 TLR - M4 system + Yoschi bolt on
                        2 Aprillia Mille R - Akrapovic + Forgot the brand(was NOICY!)
1 Ducati 996 - Carbon fibre slipon (Not Termigooni, but the sound was even better than Termies!!)

And yes. People stopped and watched, listned, smiled, and pointed...

Biek pictures of that party might come Later.
                        TL1000R -99. Yellow/Black.
M4 Full system(Alu), K&N Filter, TRE mod, removed Pair valve. Yoshimura clutch cover, removed Scissor gears, Carbon fibre hugger, carbon fibre rearhugger, HammerIt TLR/R fairings, Gilles Toolings rearset. Pazzo racing levers, shorties, Íhlins rear, Brembo front brakes, ET79 undertail, blah blah blah...
                        ------------

I woulda liked to have heard 5 liter size twins all reving. Must have been quite musical.
