It's safer that way. The function of the LP signals are OK not great. They are not that bright. I may change the stock signals to something smaller but would not run just the LP signals.Comment

was the wiring a pain in the arse? or a pretty simple job.

Very easy. I used Radio Shack tap-in squeeze connectors to hook them up. I also had to drill the fairing between the bolt holes for the wires to travel through. I am not using a fairing stay at the moment so I assume you would drill that also.Comment
