  • been down???

whats that they say?... "theres two types of riders: those who have been down and those who will go down"

Been down once in two years of riding for me. Last summer I laid down my f3 at 30mph around a turn when my front tire slipped out on a tar strip on a hot day--probably going too fast for the turn

How about you guys? How long have you been riding and how many times down?

      Down twice in 4 years.

First, was within the first six months on my first bike. Went straight into the rear of a cab waiting to turn right. But more due to fatigue from being out till 5am and going to work 2 hours later.. by the time I knock off.. woah..

Second, was only a month ago. Gravel trap at the local track.

First and only was during my first season four years ago. Lost my gonads going into a corner and stood the bike up straight into the woods. Managed to put her down at around 30ish. Oh and this was on a katana

Yep, threw my TLR off a 65' cliff near the Gap. Hence being known as Tiller Killer.

Does launching a quad off a cliff count too? If so.. I gotta add one more...

We lost it in the trees about 100 ft down....

Only the one. Going out for dinner with the missus on the back, nice warm night, rode to the city rather than drive, low sided it on a constant radius left turn on a freeway off ramp. When it hit the gutter it managed to flip a few times, that fixed up the fairing on the righthand side, top of the tank and the screen. Of all the stupid stuff I got away with on that bike, I crashed it like that

The rear rim was white, that's close to 5litres of oil on it from a smashed engine case.

(Still got the tank bra and maybe the solo cowl if anyone wants them, I threw the 4-2-2 exhaust system out in November when I shifted )

I've been down once. PUlling out of the driveway. It caused scratches to the right side fairing that now matches the scratches all over my bike. Nice.
                          I know nothing about bikes.

I've been on the street since I was 15, and I've only crashed once. It was my buddies bike, at a huge party. I say "come on let me ride it, I won't crash it)

One minute later I was at the crest of a hill, that turned out to be a cul-de-sac So I locked up the assend on his hurricane/F2?confused and got tossed over the high side No helmet (Illinois) 18 stitches and a fractured skull.

I love this helmet law thing

Oh, I crash my dirtbikes every single time I get on them
