How many miles on your TL?

Any motor rebuilds?


Mine shows 24k. Said to have a new motor at 14,500 miles but no papers.

16K 99 Tiller if it needed a new motor at 14,500 they ran that bike into the ground or mistreated it

I call BS that the PO put a motor in it. I think it just sounded good in his ad. It seems like every post on craigs list says "new motor"


The way I see it is if you dont have papers on something like a motor replacement, it didnt happen. Im claiming 24k on the motor.

My 97 S has a little over 27K miles.

My best friend got the bike from his cousin who bought it new. He laid it down in 98 and never rode it again. His cousin ended up commiting suicide (over a girl!) and the bike sat for years until they gave it to my best friend.

He let it set another year or so before sourcing the parts to fix it. When he found gauges, the lowest mileage ones he could find had 2K more on it than the busted ones, so my bike reads around 9K, but it's really only 7K.

After 14 years, a 2K difference doesn't mean much of anything... but I like to know how many it really has!

02 R, 12,500 miles. Has a Speedo Healer but I'm pretty sure that I'm rolling miles faster on the odometer than actual. Probably really only has 11k on it. Need to get it figured out ASAP. Anyone have a similar issue with a Speedo Healer?

Have a big ride scheduled for tomorrow morning so I'll bounce it off of someone elses trip to see how far it's off. Going up with 3 RC51's. Should be awesome and I can't wait. I've never been in a group with that many twins before. Can't wait!

coming up on 30k, but the previous owner put a 45t rear sprocket on it with no healer. so who knows what i really have currently. still runs like a champ though!

03 TLR with 4600 miles. Shoulder surgery, knee surgery and now back surgery next week. I've missed atleast 4 riding seasons. My have to sell it due to my back issues.

My `03R has just over 18,000km and I also have a `98R with 70,000+km. The `98 is has some electrical gremlins at the moment, but other then that no other major issues.

98TLS with 38,000 Km and going well! No problems, other than Van addiction.
