Stupid shit happens to us all... some admit it, some don't

I did a full page right up on how I couldn't get my grips on (because I was putting the wrong sides on opposite)

                    Re: Captain DUMBASS

Oh yeah here goes my version of humiliation!!!!!
Bought my bike (99tl1000r)from over east, (all the way across australia) It finally arrives, I uncrate it put the key in push the go button, nothing happens!!!!(dumbass1)
The last bike I owned was a 94 FZR1000, sold in 2003, so it had been a while.
I can hear the fuel pump going, the lights are on but nothings happening, bikes in neutral, I'm getting frustrated!!!!! I have flattened the battery(crappy old one) by now. Doesn't matter I'll push start it. Oh wasn't that fun, dumping the clutch and nearly going over the bars. Won't try that again in a hurry!!!!!(dumbass2)
2 days later I ring my local dealer and ask to talk to the mechanic. I explain my situation he says could be any number of things, do I have the clutch pulled in? What I reply!!! Why would you have to do that if the bikes in neutral!!!
I went home on my lunch break to try it, only to realise I'd left my keys at work!!!! (dumbass3)
Got home at the end of the day, put a new battery in, key on bike in neutral, CLUTCH IN, ahhhhh music to my ears that is what I wanted to hear. Beat that!!!
