Posted on the zone but felt I should share on both

They did the TLS a while back and now I can't find what I did with the magazine

This is from this months issue I got yesterday.

I always love seeing this to:
"The Original TL1000R Still Has A Cult Following"
    and why wouldn't it? !

Funny, that's the paint scheme (GSVR MotoGP) I'll be using on my TLR.

now what would be cool is to get someone to make a retro fit body kit to make our R's look like that....I would for go the underskin stuff....we all do that anyway...nothing new there....but that body is HOT......so who has a connection that can make this happen? And not that cheap shit China stuff

Re: SuperStreet Bike Back To Future 2011 TLR

I disagree completely. I would love to see the TL1000R re-released, however, outside of upgrading more horsepower/torque, they would merely be destroying the very thing we wish to preserve.
A new design would not be a Tiller, just a new bike with the same name. Is it the bike everyone loves..... or just the name?

No sense messing with perfection, IMO.

                        That bike is hot.
when i perfect my figerglass skills, its next on my list.
Suzuki's TL1000 is one of the few bikes that'll make you waltz into your boss' office and spout: "you can fire me, but I'm going riding!"

I'd love to see it DEVELOPED, not dumbed-down. I don't care if they call it a TLS, TLR, or SV1000RR. I just want at least some of the air intake thru the front, like thru the steering neck perhaps, and modern state of the art USD forks with state of the art radial brakes, near 1200 CC, lots of power, and modern state of the art brakes.
It's about control skill; this is a motorized dance for joy and not Russian roulette.

The reason i got myself a TLR was for the tail, something about it just appealed to me. So yes, if the TLR was to be brought back again it would need to retain the hump in some form and i think the above picture has done that nicely.

i agree, they keep all the best parts and just update and remodel all the rest. =)
