buy it - you are going to love it this bike has a charactar and thats what makes it wonderful.

as for handling - you could change the rear suspension with Bitubo, Ohlins, Penske, WP, EMC etc. also, you could buy some gsxr or hayabusa forks and put them instead of original ones. Sam is selling all the shims and spacers you would need to do that. you can find him here on TLPlanet or TLZone.

              good luck

Or you could buy the bike, set up the stock suspension for you and probably be perfectly happy with it for a long time unless you plan on trying to chase down Rossi on a track.

exactly, just get it. it handles fine 80% of the time, the other 20% it handles quite surprisingly well.

Re: new to forum please help

I've had mine for a little over 6 months, as far as I can tell suspension wise externally its stock, don't know if its had any internal mods. As has been previously said it works fairly well 80% of the time, but it has scared the shite out of me on a couple of occassions and I wasn't even pushing it hard!!!
This summer I intend stripping the forks as one seal is starting to weep, before I do this I will look on here to see what fork mods can be done to enhance the handling, there was a ohlins shock here on e-bay australia, brand new in the box a couple of months back, bidding started at $600aud. I thought I may have a go at it. I didn't and now regret it, I think it went for $1100 or so, I know they are around $1500 new so thats the one that got away. Oh well live and learn.....
