i know you can buy a lowering link for the rear but what needs to be done to lower the front accordingly?

Unless you are turning it into a drag bike I would suggest you leave it alone. Don't see the sense in limiting suspension travel and upsetting the handling; otherwise you may find yourself on your RRRRs at the first corner.
Small changes are possible in the front by dropping forks through triple clamps but I emphasis "small".

mine is lowered in the back and I am looking to swap for the OEM link. So I'll trade anyone looking to lower theirs.
