Im ok, for the most part. Fractured my clavicle in my left collarbone/shoulder. lady in front of me slammed on her brakes (in a prius none the less) and i jammed mine, ended up somehow tank slappin a little bit (which i thought was impossible with our dampeners), and the last thing i remember was thinking "i just low sided off my bike" and rolling across the pavement according to my friend riding with me about 9 times. i was doing about 30mph.
my icon accelerant jacket took a lickin and is done for, both shoulder pads are worn through good, rash on the back of it, tore the zipper off the left wrist. my shoei didnt escape unscathed, scratched the hell out of the visor and put a good impact mark on the right temple. i was wearing icon riding jeans that faired out ok except for a couple holes below the left knee. oddly enough i got a burn on my right knee and a scrape on my right shin. my gloves are rashed on the knuckles (dainese, exziles sp?). and my boots are fine (alpinestar smx5s).
the bike......massive rash and a hole in the left lower fairing. rash on the front right of the nose and over the headlight, left side exhaust can is rashed on the corner. clutch lever broke off, and the shifter peg broke off.
apparently my bike slid into the car in front of me (the prius) and she has been harassing me about paying up the $1089 she got quoted to fix her rear bumper. so i reported to insurance, ill let them deal with it. i am tripping about the medical bills i just incurred. $1500 for the firemen to look at me and not do anything, ambulance ride, er room, xrays and any future therapy i might need.
my only gleam of positive light here is that a restaurant that i rolled in front of (literally) says they saw her jam on the brakes unprovoked and would write a statement to police if necessary. im hoping to go after her to pay for all this as i have bike insurance (liability and comp) but no health insurance.
