  • any one running a 2into 1

I got a hold of a tls 2 into 1. I'm thinking of building one for my tlr. Just wondering if anyone was running one. Looking at that and a large pipe 2 into 2. Maybe under tail. Some thing cool for the coolest bikes ever built. I love the tl's. Thanks

I would like to see a TLR undertail exhaust. I know its gonna be HOT on that!

Historical posts state that there is a HP loss by running 2-1. Not to mention that it would counterweight one side of the bike and change the aerodynamics. Suzuki did a great deal of testing on the body and exhaust to formulate the TLR.

My $.02 - The mass-centralization and gains from an under-bike exhaust, however, may outweigh the HP losses with having custom mounted cans.

The two into one exhaust has its pro's and cons. It is lighter then a 2-2 and makes more low end and mid range, but it loses top end and unbalances things slightly. All in all you should pick your exhaust based on intended use. A 2-1 system is probably not the most ideal for a track bike due to the powerband used.

Yea, what mikey said. I have a Two Bros. 2-1 on my TLR powered TLS. It is far lighter than stock, and any balance issues are not noticeable. Bottom and mid is great, though it does rob from the top end a touch. For my purpose it's just fine!
          No. It's not an SV!

just went on the toy run on saturday, i put my " other " tlr together with mismatched fairings and standard exhaust so i could go along. ( fairings are being painted and full system has been lost in transit from the states!! ) i come home ( 2 hour ride ) across the mountain, sitting on a casual...

Running only one stock can might just tip the bike over as these monstrosities weigh 8kg a piece! But the Arrow 2-1 with a TiForce can weighs a little bit more then one Laser hotcam (ti) with a bit over 4,5kg. It might not be the best thing for power but it certainly has it's advantages!

On my TLS 2 into 2 , on the dyno 117.5 hp . Converted stock exhaust to 2 into 1 is 120.5 hp , go figure. Also removed the ram air tubes and spliter box under the air box .The loss was 2 mph on top end but the gain was the loss of the lean spot @ 3800 rpm. The bike runs and idles much smoother and is now a pleasure to drive around town.T.L.

I got a 2into 1 2brows exhaust for a tls. I'm thinking of building new 2" headers and 2.5"mid pipe. For my tlr. The can is light but its short and fat. It looks sick. I hated the stalk cans so I chopped then and put drag baffles in.

on the stock exhaust you must grind out he inside of the crossover and reweld the outside of the flanges ( gobby welds on inside) I will send photos later I have a 12 mp camera and pics wont load ,to big T.L.

Yoshimura (Japan) made one. All titanium, seen one on a bike over this way. I'll be fitting one to mine. I'll be modifying a Yoshi SV1000 3/4 2 into 1 system to fit.

                              I have a M4 2 into 1 system.

I like it, though I can't compare it to any other system as the bike came with the system and I've never ran anything else
