Heading to the Gap 9/24-26

I just thought I would put it out there, Its time for our fall trip to the Gap. We stay between The Gap and Robbinsville in a little motel that doesn't even have phones. We average about 400-450 miles of road time with evening cocktails

Motel is pretty open right now, the leave watchers aren't booking yet.

Nice...just watch out for the cajes and the fuzz. Local guy here just rode it and said both were ridiculous....Still had fun though!

Hey Design! I live in Lexington, would like to meet you. I have a friend that's wanting my to go to Deals with him in Oct. I told him I needed a bit more practice on the curves first and we'll see, lol.

No better place to learn that the wonderful mountains. I have been going to the Gap for a very, very very.... well you get the idea. Just ride your own pace it will be well worth it.

I was on the M109r last night, but will be on the TLR for next Thursday nights ride. We start at hOOters, so feel free to stop by for a barley pop.

Don't really hang out in the acutal Gap for long, usually swing by a couple times a day but most riding is out away on some of the long loops. Thanks for the heads up.

I was meaning to head out to the river last night, but my friend called and said he was heading to a new bar in Winchester, so I met up with him there.

When I do go to river, I usually park right in front of the bar (with the Harley's, LOL).

Hopefully will have brakes done by next week, kind of sucks using only rears.

Might just meet up with you there, about what time do you show?

well - I don't know who is doing your brakes, but I can throw pads in for ya for a couple beers at hOOters - we will be there by 5:25-5:30 and take a long ride to Waterfront around 6:30ish.

Sorry for the hijack, lol.

In the help thread I mentioned that my bike tipped over on my trailer and bent my right side rotor.

Wouldn't mind going to the gap for a weekend thing. Fri thru Sun. Maybe one day.

Just need room for mine if you still have an open spot when I make my decision.

Doug is going to (or already has) invite you to his place this weekend for the cookout. I'm going... it'd be nice to meet up there and talk about the trip and costs and stuff if you can make it.
