gsxr fork conversion
I found a basically com pleat 04 gsxr. 750 front end. Will this work or does it need to be 1000? May even have calipers. Has triple tree. Frint wheel rotors. What will work as a direct swap what else would I need? Tree work? What is the easiest way to do it? What is the benefit of the swap?Tags: None

Re: gsxr fork conversion
THIS will give you all the dimensions you need to know.
750 forks will be fine,in fact probably superior as they are Showas instead of Kayaba.
Try to get the calipers if you can, they are the 4 pad version.I have them and love 'em.
You can fit the whole lot including the triples, but on an R this will reduce your steering lock and you have to remount the ign/lock.
If you use the R triples all you need to do is make some .5mm shims for the the lower triple clamp ,rotor spacers and new spacers for the calipers. This is a setup for using the stock TLR wheel and rotors.
Sam was offering kits to do it .PM him to see if they are still available.
When I did mine,Stu (TheRingIn) machined my triples to have the same offset as k5-k6 GSXR.Great modFull Yosh
