TLR Timeing Issue

hey
got a tl1000r powered bimota sb8r. had a 800k run up to the sunshine coast fri-sat night (sensational ride!!). Coming back the bike has been running like a dog...cuts out at idle when hot (potentiometer issue perhaps) but i was wondering if it is necessary to adjust the timing and where is there on this site can i find a demonstration of how to??

Yellow 'TL Resources' link up the top of every page.

But the timing itself is not adjustable - maybe via software, but not by the crank sensor or anything like that.

Bad fuel? Water in the tank?
