  • Front end upgrade

Meant to post this sooner but have been a bit busy...

Before i went on a long road trip i asked advice on changing the springs etc if i swapped my Tlr forks for the softer sprung Gixxer k4 1000's using Sams kit.

In the end i went the cheap route and added 10mm of oil to hold them up and imo they were just fine, even on the steep mountain passses......Im about 95 kilos leathered up and had about 20 kilos of luggage spread between a tank bag and rear pack

All told i did about 3000 miles, a lot of fuel and a rear diablo corsa....The tl performed really well especially up thru the mountains considering it was well loaded

Ive also included a foto of the cutaway needed to fit the Ti Force system

Thanx...im working on it.......The tank cover has 4 clips on it that fits a myriad of tankbags/both size and style....The make is baglux/bagster depending on if its retailed in the Uk or Europe

If i change bikes i keep the tank bags but just change the made to measure cover

Forks 200 (took a long time to find at this price)
Calipers with new ebc HH inc 40
                Powdercoat calipers 50
                Sams kit 60 ish

Brake lines i had lying around
Radial master cylinder i took from my Track bike as i had upgraded to brembo and that was sitting in the garage gathering dust

Vans price seems fair if you wanna upgrade......Biggest difference is the brakes....Like night and day

Nice bike and nice ride. Was the RED paint scheme only offered in Europe?
Looks like you packed a little lighter than I did. I only logged 2300 miles on my trip (three weeks ago), and the TLR did well in mountains. Can't complain.

Are you happy with your TI Force system?

My TLS has K1 gixer forks with maxton internals,They give a lot of feedback and a nice ride aswell.

@Six5......Im not sure whether red was a euro thing...Deffo dont see that many of them

With regard the Ti Force....I love it.....theres a few small headaches to overcome when fitting it....ie: rear manifold pipe must be positioned exactly and the fairng needs some cutting on the right side...Other than that its well worth it
