    $6 Airbox heat shield

    Got bored and wanted to try something. Screw the $160 "Miracle Mod", This ran me about $6!

    I'm about half way through.

                      Not from me. The cooler the better and a poofteenth of RAM air is better than a vacuum in the airbox

                                      What about doing the underside of the tank? Would there be a benefit to have fuel a few degrees cooler?

                                          Hmmm, I would not have needed to paint it after I did all my plastic-welding on it...

                                          SO where did you get this stuff?

                                              At the home depot! Anywhere they sell stuff for installing hot water heaters should have it.
