  • I done blew it up

Well, 28,000 miles on her, God knows how fast I was going, an FHP Camaro trying to catch me and she went boom . Long story short, I was running from the cops and blew the motor. Yeah, I know. Stupid idea, but I seemed like a plan at the time. Good news is, I didn't wind up with a shiney new set of braclets. Just a nice big speeding ticket. The cop was actually pretty cool about the whole thing. Funny thing is it was the same cop that pulled me over a month earlier. He only got me doing 88 so I guess I lucked out on in that respect. He decided not to charge me with evading or reckless. I kept my licence, kept the bike and other then the motor everything is cool. Especially considering the rear tire locked up at well over 100 with oil all over the place. I don't know why it decided this was a good time to give up the ghost but it did. So now I need to tear it down, see what happened and decide If I can fix it or find a new one. Instant Karma's a Mother [email protected]$%#! sometimes.

Not sure yet. It was to dark to see but somewhere up front. The motor's locked though. It won't even turn. It was making a nice clicking sound befor the FI light came on and the tire locked up. I'm thinking top end but I'm not gona be sure untill I get in there and look.

sounds like you made out pretty lucky on that one..........i would rather have quick (or instant in your case) carma any day, rather than wait for it to build up on me. i'm sure you'll get the motor sorted out.
