I am going to be installing a set of clip-ons on my TLS.I was told all i have to do is remove the Triple-tree and slide my old Clip-ons up the fork tube and do the same in reverse to get the new ones on,Is this true? and if so what will make it easier?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

First things first, did you get my PM about the heli-bars

Yes just take off the top triple and remove old CO's replace with and replace top triple.

you can take the weight off the front with a pair of jackstands and a 5/8in zinc rod from Home Depot. This will make it much easier, or push the front wheel against a solid object(concrete wall) and push. this will help the top triple line up when you put it all together.
