I'm sorry sir, but you are dead to me. I wish you luck, but I must turn my back...

Pity it's illegal to wash ANY vehicle with water in my area. We need real rain to get of these water restrictions.

(or I can go to a commercial car wash that is open, but the only ones open have to use recycled water )

You on stage 3 up there Steve?

We only have stage 2 down here so it's legal to wash with a bucket. Difficult, but legal. The worst bit is the major catchments have been getting way more rain than average but the ground is so dry it isn't making it to the dams

They teach geography in grade 6, Matt will be in grade 6 soon

Yeah Miles, they bumped us a few weeks ago, the same time they bumped you guys, but we've always been a step ahead. They are now pushing through with a pipeline so we can tap into Melbourne's water supply to try and guarantee us water to live on.

I used to push my luck washing the bike and car, you were allowed to hand water lawns (not anymore) so I'd park the car or the bike on the front lawn to wash it, I'd use the bucket to wash and the hose to rinse, was I rinsing the car or hand watering the lawn :dunno, but no more lawn watering at all, no more vehicle washing with water. Wax and polish as you dust with Mr Sheen!

That's where it si nice to have a drain inside your garage. shut the door and no one has to know. Except maybe the water meter man when you have used twice what everyone else has.

Water restrictions, that sucks. Being in the sticks, I have a well. I just finished detailing my bike after neglecting it for the last month(too busy riding it to wash it). It takes me ~4 hours to clean the wheels, scrub around the suspension/engine compartment, debug(literally) the rads, wash the bodywork, armour all the guages/vinyl bits, and wax the beast to a sparkling shine. Ahhh, I feel better when my baby is all shiney and clean. Time to go for a ride and get her filthy again. Hope your restrictions are lifted soon.

                              All clean again
                              Doc

Geez my bike sounds funny now
