coloured thomahawk remoulds with the majority of people
quite dismissive of them

just bought a rear thomahawk (not coloured) but couldn't
really say wether it was any good or not at the time as i
hadn't really pushed it.
This weekend i was away on a trip to the 'nurburgring'

if you didn't know it, the TL did quite well but boy did i have to push it to keep with the other guys we were following (fast germans on 03' gixer 1000's) these guys tend to have done 100's of laps around there so they do know were they are going.
The circuit is 13 miles long and is up & down like no other there
are 2 banked hairpins & 2 straights of over 150 mph.

(the tl managed 165 down the latter)
Now the reason for the thread! the thomahawks were completely
faultless

which for somoene who has only done 10 laps all in is pretty bloody quick (even if i do say so myself). The grip was great i didn't manage to get it sliding at all

behind me said the tyres were leaving black lines all over the place? I did ride Nationals over here in the uk for 4 years so
i'm not a newbie when it comes to tyres etc. so if your offered some of these tyres give them a go you will probably be surprised! though expect some ribbing by your m8's for having remoulds I did. though they changed their tune by the end of the weekend! i'll get some photos of the tyres posted tomorrow so you can have a look. By the way the carcass my rear was based on was the mez3 as i had a mez3 race on the front!
cheers guys Paul.
