  • Tlr4me & Kwikryder-thanks Guys!

I need to give a big thank you to TLR4ME and KWIKRYDER.

I had this oil leak which was driving me crazy and making a mess on my garage floor every morning. I noticed that TLR4ME had posted something about oil leaks so I asked him a question about it. He unselfishly offered to come by on his day off and help me fix it. He ended up replacing two seals on the clutch side and the bike is leak proof now. THANKS TLR4ME.

I had read the link about the Gixxer gauge conversion here and was anxious to try it. I also met KWIKRYDER on TLPlanet and finally met him at a local bike hang out (You know...Starbucks). He mentioned the conversion and I told him that I wanted to do that. He then showed me his bike which had it and again, unselfishly offered to help me with mine. He came over last night and guided me through the whole process, giving me tips and tricks that he used to make the install go smoother along the way and of course, doing some of the work. He stayed until after one in the morningworking on it with me and the gauge worked perfectly! THANKS KWIKRYDER.

I also have to say THANKS TLPLANET for this website and it's vast information about the TL and the way it brings people with that love of their bike together to help eachother and/or just to make new friends which yesterday, I made two.

KWIKRYDER got you to do work? Why was I all dirty then? Hey no prob rick,I needed a guinea pig bike anyway, you know practice on yours before I do mine! Just thank me after you ride it for a few days and we know it won't leak again. Get a hold of me next week so I can show you the lake roads and see those gauges...

Can't wait to ride those rodes. Also, if you like the gauge, I have a GSXR750 gauge for sale. Then, maybe I can get my hands dirty on YOUR BIKE doing the conversion.

I did some work too. To tell you the truth I felt kinda scared to touch Rick's bike. Some guys treat their bikes like thier girls, you can look but cant touch. But when he asked me to take over while he went inside for a moment i gladly got my hands a little dirty.

Rick it was a pleasure to help you with the mods to your bike. Hopefully we can get together and do the TPS adjustment
