  • Another genius on eBay

It always amazes me. What is this guy thinking?

    ebay link

SUZUKI TL1000S 1997 LOW MILES ONLY 400 MADE. Has full Yoshimira exhaust from heads to back, high performance custom chip, cowl included, aftermarket lower ferring, aftermakit wind shield, Drag edition wheels, never dropped adult ridden. This is a fuel injected bike not carbuerated. Aftermarket steering damper, new brakes, runs excellent. Bike is in perfect condition.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out my other auctions as well!!!!!!!!
Um....only 400 red 1997's? I didn't know anyone made a "custom chip" for a TLS. What's a ferring? Looks like stock wheels to me. And by aftermarket, I guess he means that the steering damper is a stock Suzuki one.

Ferring is a cover near the motor I think because look at the bottom half where the motor is. That isnt stock is it ?

Maybe he forgot to post the recent pics of the bike with all the "hot" parts

Or maybe somebody who does not have a clue

He was comenting on the fact that is was spelled wrong.

Ferring= Fairing. Otherwise, yeah. The lower is an aftermarket piece on the S.

It amazes me the kind of ignorance, or just total , that people put up there sometimes. Anything to make a buck I guess. After all. It's the American way .

I thought that fuel injection was only on the '99 and up TL-S'.

No, every model TL was injected.

                            totally agree with you all...

by the way..do all yoshi's on the TLS look like they would drag along the floor when the front wheel is aloft..and he doesnt mention either that rear tyre has seen better days..the aftermarket damper is only aftermarket coz he took it off a TLR...
that lower fairing doesnt quite reach the upper..is that normal...?
And looks like a patch of oil to me running off the bottom of the stand..and making a patch...or he coulda just washed it

that one is the best for me though...
                            Ridden by an adult
he must be about 80 then....TL is too much fun for any of us to be adults

Are you sure, the gixxers got FI in 2000 same with most of the other manufacturers, so how did the TL's have FI way back in 97?? I bought my 99 TL-S on one of the selling points that it was the first year of fuel injection. Or do i just not know what I am talking about?!?!?!
