These kits are approx. 1.5 lbs lighter than an OEM 530 chain/sprocket setup. Lose rotating mass in your driveline for quicker accleration while maintaining durability and longevity.

The 520 conversion kit includes both a black steel front and black steel rear sprocket as shown above along with a pre-cut black RK GWX x-ring 520 chain. The RK chain uses a press style rivet master link which is included. The RK GXW black chain has an adequate tensile strength to hold even heavily modifed TLs.

No more wearing out alumimum alloy rear sprockets twice a year. These black steel rear sprockets will last as long as the chain.

These all steel kits are OEM quality or better. All steel kits are available in gear ratios from 16-17t front and 39-41t rear.

Dam I just almost bought a vortex 520 rear on flea bay 2hr ago. I couldn't decide what brand of chain I wanted so I past on it. I just had a feeling. Thank god. Put me down for a set. I will paypal you tonight or in the morning. I can't decide if I want a 16 or 17 front. I want a 41 rear. When I decide ill pay you thanks.

Just curious do they have a anything bigger than a 41t rear?

I have been running 16/44 and have got used to it. But then again not much difference between the 41(2.56) and the 44(2.75).

And how long are these prices good for?

16/44 You must like wheelies.

Driven also makes a 520-45 and 520-47 for the TL fitment. I didn't list those up because most guys won't want those gear ratios.

These prices are good for the next couple of months...

I like how fast it accelerates with that gearing, the 3rd gear power wheelies are just a bonus.

530 kits are only $6 USD more than the prices posted in the first post on this thread.

The 520 kit spec'd here will hold any TLR/TLS out there.....other than maybe Sam's supercharged TLS.



The RK GXW chain is a good match to the TL torque and horsepower, even more modified engines. This all steel sprocket kit and black RK chain will provide thousands of miles of flawless performance. Overall total mileage will be just short of that of a 530 kit, but not by much.

All in all, a great performance upgrade with excellent durability/longevity.

Driven doesn't make a steel rear sprocket for the BST wheel, only aluminum alloy.

These all steel 520 conversion kits are for OEM or Carrozzeria wheels.
