Re: TLR Oil Cooler (Heat Exchanger)

It's off the 'R' - the 'S' uses the radiator style oil to air cooler.
This would be for converting an 'S' to an 'R' style if you wanted to install 'R' header for example
(which is what I did to install full M4 system off 'R' on the 'S')
or just as a replacement for a damaged one on an 'R'

This would be same, installed on my (former) 'S'
It's the part that the Oil Filter goes on.

decosse - Did you tap into the end of the water pump??

ps... my brother considers you to be the S3 guru-extraordinaire since you gave him some advice after he was having those issues with his. I think his name is jwolfe9 on the triumph board.

Thank your brother for the kind words - appreciated.

I drilled hole in the pump cover and fitted a hose spigot where the lower hose connects - JB-Welded in.
I filled it 'proud' then profiled it smooth with Dremel and painted the whole cover.
Then you fit a TEE in the lower Rad hose and a couple of Sump Drain plugs in place of the former TLS cooler hose adapters.
Note that I painted mine in the picture of the bike above - they come 'natural' as per the pic of the one that is for sale.

Your R already has this. So... not unless you need a new one.
